Morning,

Does anyone have a part no for the little stone chip protectors on the rear arch of the cupra?
Big stone appears to have torn mine off!

I've seen you can get carbon fibre ones for the a class merc, that would be a better option if anyone knows where I can get some for the cupra

Cheers
Josh

Hi josh,

I've got some part no for you as i was looking to fit them to my FR, but i was under the impression that these were for aero purposes.

No worries!

Seems that they are legally required if you have 19” wheels. This is taken from carbonwurks

“Both the A and CLA Class with the 19″ wheel option from factory come with plastic rear splash guards. These are for legal reason to extend the bodywork out further than the wheel protrudes but as another purpose they do also reduce the spray that comes off the wheels as well as keeping some stones inside too. Carbonwurks have taken this idea and again made them into Carbon Fibre!”

So apparently, all above is applicable.

Those aren't aero parts iirc . They are fitted to cupra models as standard to comply with UK laws regarding how the wheels cannot protrude beyond the widest point of the wheel arch
