Locked doors

Hi everyone,
Apologies if this is a common prob writen about many times before. I have just bought a Leon Cupra r on a 04 plate. When i unlock the car using the remote lock on the key, the driver door unlocks but all other doors remain locked. I have to press the unlock button on the panel on the drivers door to open them all. very annoying. Is there a way round this.

No it's for your protection

Say there are some undesirable characters around you can get in with less chance of getting car jacked etc

Pressing the button twice won't kill you.............someone geting in the passenger seat with a knife might

Twice for all the doors and boot

Oh and when locking

One press locks with dead locks
Pressing twice disables dead locking

So only press once

Wonder what would be said by your insurers if you then lost your car in a car jacking and you had turned off this feature with VAG COM

I know of at least 2 attempted car jackings (both in Birmingham on LCR's)

I don't think they would have a case to be honest. A lot of standard cars have one touch full unlocking and I've read that some peoples Seats rolled out the factory like this. It's only another option to play with in the ECU so am not sure they would know any different or prove this was the drivers fault etc... Saying that it takes bugger all these days for them to squirm out of a claim
