think this might have something to do with vagcom not letting me into cent conv on my mates 2010 s3
kept coming up with access denied
 
The annoying thing I guess (depending on how far you live away from the tuner) could be that if after a service the map is overwritten, you have to go back and have the ECU removed again and re-mapped

Or is it a case that once the encryption is bypassed, its no longer active?

Saying that, if the performance is that good compared to standard, once or twice a year visit is maybe not too bad

Revo told me only the new diesel leons are the issue and the petrol cupras are fine, i have had a trial on 2010 FL cupra with no worries at all :)

all the TFSI cars seem to be fine. as said above its the newer ecus which can be found in the TDI and TSI engines
 
Great results from my ultimap tuning module;) power and economy as well , regularly gets 54/55 on motorway , i can choose an aggressive map , very much like the pre fl pd 170,s power delivery or like the standard fl delivery(more linear) but more of:p:p.

check out the website , they are german manufactured all approved n 'wot not' 3 year
warranty with some impressive results and more importantly DPF friendly.............

I have had a good few seats over the years all of them remapped , so decided to go plug n play then i can take the power with me when i sell the car........i've lost a fortune previously:lol:

just remember your main tuning companies have had their problems with remaps....take the pd 170 for example........i'm saying no more.:whistle:
