Long time VAG enthusiast. New to Seat

Hello.

Been lurking a while... Had my Leon Cupra 1.8t for a few weeks now. Previous motors have been a variety of VAG's with a brief love affair with an E39 530i. Just sold my B6 passat sport as I don't do the miles to warrant a DPF derv any more.

Loving how characterful the cupra is and having a project again. Will get a RR going at some point .

Anyway, looks to be a friendly and useful forum!

What plans you got for the MK1? Plenty to be had from that engine!

Did you buy it standard or is it already modified?

Bought it completely standard but in need of tlc. It's a low mileage 04. Think it was sat for a good while before I bought it, very filthy, brakes shot and stank.

So far it's had EVERYTHING serviced including Cambelt, deep clean and a few broken interior bits replaced.

Long term plans are fairly modest, custom exhaust at Longlife in Bridport, remap, some rims and coilies. Will be subtle but fun. I'll post more info in my RR when I get chance.

I’m the same, been in VWs since passing my test with the odd company car thrown in the mix. Always loved both the mk1 and 2 Leon’s, but plumped for a mk3 which will hopefully be with me by the end of the week!

Ibiza 1.4 from new
MK5 golf tdi - did loads to this
B6 passat sport- family whip, so unreliable!
