From 2010-2012 The car was in storage (Garaged) with no previous.

November 27 2012 - drained oil + fuel put fresh in used a almost new battery when to start it no transponder in the key so i fitted a new one and programed it started first turn left it running for 2 hour's parked it on the drive.(No faults showing)

December 04 2012 - Started first turn left it for 10 minutes went to turn it around, Dash lights faded and flashed for abit the car cut out, (No faults showing)

Tried to jumped start it started first time no problem soon as i removed the jump lead the car cut out, i took along holiday and been really busy with work so its been stud back up for about 2 months now.(No faults showing)

February 14 2013 The battery must of got killed with all the cold weather and snow, so i brought a brand new battery from the shop, Fitted this now the transponder has lost code so I've reprogrammed the key Started Perfect, left it to run for a hour while i went to buy some tax, come back running sweet so i though i would take it out.

14 miles down the road the abs light show's 10-20 secound's later the air bag show's both stay solid around 1 mile down the road the car lost power causing it to miss-fire badly, i make it to a large empty car park (the car is now sat at 3000 rev's on its own if i realise the throttle or accelirate it just wouldnt move and stayed there i ended up parking and turning it off i done the following.

Turn the off trid restarting it, it was making the noise as if the battery was flat.
its fully charged and has a window on the battery. So....
Removed battery.
Removed battery pan.
took the earth off and cleaned it replaced everything.

It started perfect left it ticking over for 10 minutes gave it some revs and started miss-fire's once again im stuck for clues (No faults showing)

Thinking coil pack is dieing or the alternator????

Hope to hear from someone soon thanks for reading

Check voltage from alt, modern cars do wild stuff with low voltage and voltage spikes.
also get someone with vagcom to realign throttle body, you will also have to say what engine you have for coilpack advice

To me seems like the alternator is dead but you can test that with a volt meter

thank you for the awnsers so far
