Due to a buckled rim, I'm looking out for a used 18" 'Performance' alloy (the optional one from the FR range)

I've tried several dealers and TPS' and the price of a new one is £391

I'm still waiting for a response from Dave at Sere to see if he can (significantly) beat that price.

If anyone has got one or a set they're willing to split then please let me know.

Thanks!

Thanks, that's actually the Titanium alloy and not the one I'm looking for. My car originally left the factory with a Titanium pack but I didn't like the alloys so swapped them to the Performance ones from my previous FR.

Thanks for the response, much appreciated.

Dave at SERE came back with a much better (but still silly!) price of £290 delivered.

I looked at getting aftermarket alloys for around £450 but then I'd have to spend another £20-£40 getting tyres changed and then store the OEM wheels for when I get rid of the car and I'd still have one buckled wheel which I wouldn't feel right about putting back on the car, it's in bad shape.

Needless to say I've ordered the wheel from SERE; communication from Dave has been painless and he's been great to deal with. I don't think I'll find one cheaper from a UK dealer unless I get lucky with a customer swapping a set.

BUT £290 for a single wheel :(

Have you asked any dealers if they've got any about? Managed to get a full set with tyres for £500 from a local dealer! Helps that know the general manager but still a bargain!

I phoned around 8 different dealers and even tried to some Skoda dealers too as I like the Gemini alloys from the vRS. I also asked for the alloys from the Leon Xperience as I think they look very good.

That's a bugger. Try around the times the new reg comes out. Sometimes people order the upgrades and then don't want them which leaves them sat at the dealers. Hope you find one.

My Friend in Cork, Ireland is selling this Alloy with a minor kerb on it. Tyre is good. He's had it a while now and no longer has a Seat. He changed to a VRs, he might be interested in parting with it at a lower price.

I know that you're likely in the UK so postage is the next consideration. I know that it's about €50 or £38(or so) to post Alloys across the sea so that's another consideration.

Guy is OCD about his cars so he actually both a brand new, full RRP, alloy to replace the one in the link.

Could you tell your mate I'd be interested in his titanium pack alloy wheel. I'm in the UK so if you could Pm me a price with delivery that'd be great.

Howdy, thanks my wheel. I'll try and get a price in the next few days for postage if your interested still. It has minor kerbing - it's actually from a bit of angle iron on the road. There's about 4mm left on the conti tyre.
