Looking to buy a new or newish Ibiza fr diesel

Hello, I currently have a vectra sri 150 diesel and am looking to downsize to something smaller.

Up pops the Ibiza fr. How much are new fr's going for? Will I be able to get a good dealing one?

Also, I have a disabled parent and without seeing in person, could you get a wheelchair in the boot?

I've got a derv FR, not sure how much they are going for secondhand but list price is around £17-18k

Boots are very small on the FR due to the relocation of the battery from the engine bay. With the seats down you should be fine, seats up will probably be a challenge.

Have you looked at the Leon fr diesel? There 170bhp and I imagine would provide enough room, given your situation I can't see the ibiza being that practical.

Thanks for all your help, just had a quick look at one and think the boot maybe too small at a push. Will transfer my attention to a Leon.

What's the reason for wanting to downsize? Smaller isn't always better for running costs. A new VW Passat with the same 2.0 TDi 140 engine as the Ibiza FR has on paper better MPG and lower CO2. Or, A BMW 320d ED trumps them both and is faster.
