*shamelessly copied from my intro post*

Planning to buy a nice Leon TDI FR soon

Getting rid of my shoddy 306 XS. woot.

Might even get round to saving for a remap + upgraded clutch after reading this forum.

Anything particular to look out for in a Leon TDI FR?
Looking at a 05/55 reg with around 10-15k miles.
What kinda price should I be looking at?

Ta for any info :D

They all seem to be around 12-13k, depends what you want, do you want leather and the FR+ model or standard FR, looking at defo 13k for a FR+, with leather aswell going towards 14k. I payed 13,300 for mine in april with 8k on it from a main dealer.

Hmm, didnt know there were different FR specs.
What's the difference between the standard FR and FR+?

Not really fussed about leather, I actually like the cloth interior on the FR.

cupra r replica alloys in 17's also has the cupra r front bumper

i like the cupra ones better, but hey, people have different opinions, i changed my cupra ones in the end

Yeh ideally id get an FR+, the front bumper looks a bit more agressive, and i much prefer the wheels.

Although the FR does look almost as good in certain colours.

But as has been said, everyone likes different things, if they didnt the world would be boring.

very true m8, i was thinking about the front bumper myself but think its amusing when u see a diesel with that kit as you expect it to be a R

I've got a silver and a red FR TDI in stock (not plus) on 55 plates for £13495 or a 55 plate FR+ TDI for £13995 to give you an idea of price.Prices seem to have risen slightly recently, for some unknown reason!

If you get an FR+ I think it may be easier to sell later because of the looks. Not to say that the standard FR looks worse because it doesn’t :D

I think you can get one for 12k maybe 12.5k from dealer. I think there is a lot more room for negotiation as the new FR is out. There are some good deals to be found from our members on the for sale section too if you keep an eye out. As snoopcousins said great car so you won’t be disappointed either way.

Those are the kind of prices i've been finding from the seat website.

Nearest garage is in windsor and has a nice black one for just under £14k.
Although I think i'd prefer the grey colour as my current black 306 just shows the dirty so much :(

Coming from a 306 i'd not be disapointed if I had to walk everywhere :D

Got a test drive in a 140bhp Toyota Celica on sunday, doubt I'll get one though, doing 20,000 miles a year means diesel is pretty much a necessity (otherwise i'd probably be going for a Cupra / Cupra R)

Ive also got a 306, altho a lowly Meridian 1.6 on an S plate.

Want to go up to a FR+ colour undecided, but trying to avoid red or the proper silver. Platinum is looking a favourite at the moment, and maybe Ovni - if there were actually any about.

Id definetly go for the FR+ looks better, in my opinion, and as someone said more desirable. Although that may of course work against you.

I think the FR looks best in Platinum, i had a deposit down on one and it also had the original FR alloys, very nice indeed but another dealer offered me the FR+ at the last minute and got a slightly better deal but I would have been happy with either IMHO....:)

Heres a couple of my FR+

Go for whatever best deal you can get, i wouldnt worry about an FR+ having better residuals as i dont think it will, both very good cars and both look sweet..! [B)]

Actually that does look quite good.
I'd prefer one in Platinum Grey but obviously it's not always that easy when buying used.
Also doesnt help when the seat site lists some silver cars as grey and some grey cars as silver, heh :D

Smart looking car snoop.... and nice house! :)

Good luck with getting a car Infernal keep looking and you will find the colour and car you want. I have a LCR in platinum and she's lovely! :D
