take it 2 a specialist to remove. 99.9% of locking bolts can be removed with out drilling in mins. Even my mcgard ones came off in seconds. Also you can order (with mcgard) a new locking key.

I f**ked up my key and used a socket just slightly smaller than the locking nut, a pin to hammer against and hammered it over the nut, then used a breaker bar to remove it. slight rubbing dammage to inner part of alloy, but is small and covered over. only got front off, need to get other two off now, broke socket!

if they are factory seat lockers go to dealer they keep a big box of all the keys so they can get you a new one

thats correct, ive used this service myself.

if you have aftermarket types there are many after market products, or the AA cary a tool...

if all else fails, there is a guy in leeds who has a patented tool to remove locking wheel nuts, takes him 20 seconds, or if you are far away he is willing to send the kit to you to use for about £10 on rent basis. (its about £180 for the kit).
does take a good steady hand with a hammer to use the drive system on it.
note this will render the bolt unusable afterwards.

search for "dynomec"

yeah i've seen that company before but was expecting it to be expensive
Its quite a small company, however the AA did buy up many of the kits.

He is a very helpful chap indeed.

A dealer broke one of my old locking wheel nuts (a good make), they spent a fortune on kits to get it off, - none worked.
This chap took 10 seconds to get it off. No alloy damage. Nice bit of kit.

I tried thses, only worked for one nut and was worn away after that. a deep socket a mm smaller than the lock nut, and a hammer. I set the socket in boiling water, hammered on and nut came off in one go using a breaker bar.

an update on the situation...

I am now as happy as Larry

My girlfriend who i now love more than ever went to local Audi/ VW dealer
(which is have to admit i never even thought of doing) and got me a replacement key
which they had in stock.

So my advise to anyone ever in this predicament is to forget SEAt dealers and go to Audi/VW

lol
it really depends on individual dealers. i have found that all of skoda, seat, vw and audi can be good, bad, terrible, or excellent.
Well ok, so one of them has consistently been terrible... but i can confirm this isnt skoda, seat or audi.
One example of variation is the 2 audi dealer near to where i live. One wouldnt even sell me a screw without a chassis number even though i had pointed at the one i wanted and it had been removed from its box and was sitting on the desk infront of us complete with part number and price. Whereas the other audi dealer has supplied parts for me no problems, taking an interest in my car and on one occassion drove out of his way on the way to work to get a part for me asap.
