Can some tell me if it possible to adjust the low beam on 2014 ibiza tsi as just received mine this week and drove it in the dark last night and couldn't see a dame thing on low beam

Does it have halogen or HID?
if it's the later with self-level mechanism, you need VCDS but I can guide you thru it.

If it's just regular halogen headlights, pop the hood, and locate the big white allen screw on the back of the headlights and give it a couple turns till you reach the ideal height of the lights.

What version of vcds do you use ive got a cable from my old curpa and trying it with version 14.10 but wont connect do you think i should get a new cable or im i using the wrong version of vcds cheers

I'm using v12.12
If the cable is not original from Rosstech and you used a newer version of the software with it, chances are that you bricked the cable and will need a new one.

On knockoff cables you need to use the software version that came with it and only that version. also make sure you disable the auto-update on the program to avoid it being upgraded to a new version that will fry your cable.

You can set them manually, on top of each headlight there is an allen (or hex) key hole, using the appropriate key you can adjust them to you liking. Just make sure you check their position on a wall so that they're level!

Yours don't reset after restarting the car?

I did that first but it reset to the "learned" position after shuting down the car for a few hours, the only way to leave them at the height I wanted was using the VCDS.
I'm pretty sure the GTI didn't do that and the Clio either, so probably is something with the facelifted 6J

No they didn't reset. Maybe, as you say, it's different with the facelift.
