Hi peeps.
My 2008 Altea Xl 1.9TDI Stylance has issues. It takes forever to reach running temperature but when it does I lose all throttle response and the turbo is clearly not doing its job. The fault however goes away if you stop and restart the engine so it has to be sensor related somewhere. I read somewhere else that a faulty temp sensor can shut the turbo down and throw an over-pressure fault (which is showing as pending on my scanner) when in fact there isn't one. I'm going to replace the temp sensor and thermostat to make sure but just wondered if anybody else had run up against this issue?
