lower ball joint

hi people any advice or pics on how 2 change a ball joint on gti ive been told its very easy but ive never done 1 thanks guys

Three bolts attach it to the lower arm.

One clamp bolt attaches it to the hub carrier.

You really need alignment done afterwards.

get a ball joint splitter, will make life so much easier under there! only cost me a fiver! but it is a peice of piss, mark off on the rod first though to how much it screws onto, will still need to have it re-alligned though

easy mate, one nut and bolt and three 13mm's holding it to the arm, get a lump hammer and beat the crap out of it or the bottom arm and it will drop out.
(obviously dont undo the 3 bolts holding it to the bottom arm, if your doing it my way until its out of the hub.)
