Lowering springs

Want to lower my leon without messing around with the arb. Is 40mm pushing it or will I get away with it? Where's the best place to get springs? Seen these on ebay, what do people think, too cheap? What do you all recommend?

guess its the cupra in your DP in which case yeah 40 will push it driveshaft will start knocking but you can always get uprated ones or and LCR one... if you want to keep it

Yea it's a cupra mate. Got a 6 month old so don't want to go crazy low just want a nice stance and fill the arches and want to try keep a decent ride quality or the missus will moan haha

40mm over all, so 30mm further drop for the Cupra should be fine.

You got prices for springs Damian? What do you recommend? Are the leon cupras lower than the mk4 golfs? Mines a 2002 cupra

me to, part i'm putting LCR wishbones, hubs, and anti roll bar. Want to know what springs to go for

Ha fair one...Ok mate.Im thinking of getting a set of Koni's.Heard on this forum that H&R springs are a bit of a harsh ride and my budget wont stretch to a set of Eibachs!

Yea I can't really stretch to eibachs although they do seem the best. Want a decent set for a fair price if you get me how low you thinking of going?

Nothing to crazy.Not fussed about throwing it round corners, just a lower looking stance.So prob just 35mm will do me.

Yea same just want to fill the arches a bit better. If I see some springs at a decent price I will let you know. Think it's apex I've seen for about £100. Not read up about them yet
