Which springs are the best to go for? There seems to be quite a few around at similar prices for the ibiza!
Still haven't got my wheels yet, I'd like to get it lowered before I do so I'm not riding high!!

**I've got the 2.0 cupra sport gti

Doesn't really matter

People advise that you get the kit though - i.e matching dampers

I had APEX but had issues, so would avoid them

Although, it did sit nice! 40mm drop

also been told to avoid just having springs as it doesnt settle properly with standard dampers.
im not great with suspension but i know u can end up causing urself more hassle doing that than spending another £100 for a kit.
Ive got the fk coilovers on mines and i have to say, its not as bumpy as i was expecting it to be, bonus! :funk:

David... odd mine's a bit bumpy but i like it like that :)

It really depends how low you gonna go, if you jus want 30 or 40mm then buy a suspension kit like G Max. Spax, Apex, etc.... If you want to go much lower than that or how complete control over the ride height then go for FK Highsport Coilovers.

Like everyones already said, go for the full kit if you can as it will save the wear and tear on your original dampers. Then depending on how low you want to go, either get the sport suspension kit or a coilover kit if you want to be able to get full control over your ride height.

if you insist on just changing the springs, go eibach, I did that route and they were grand for well over a year until the std shocks started to give too much.
fk do spring/shock kits for a decent price, perhaps worth saving another hundred or two for them instead?

dave - depending how low your ibiza is, mines is on 50 profile tyres which helps and its dropped around 60mm.
its the AK kit and i find it firm but not solid and bumpy which i preferr. :p

Thanks for the advise guys!
Just wondering how easy it is to adjust the ride height on the FK coilovers - can it be raised for a bit of off roadin :D

Has anyone heard of Interalloy?
