Maf from VW dealer?

Can I get a MAF from my local vw dealer using this part number: 06A906461D?

Easier for me to get it from them than a SEAT dealer.

not saying the same thing will happen to you but when i brought a maf from VW - it went faulty after 5 months and they woudnt exchange it as they would have to do diagnostic checks on the car - and as its not a VW - they wouldnt touch it -

went to seat and brought a new one but they wouldnt take the old maf(and take money off) as the last letter was different -

vw was about £85 + surcharge when i got mine..

I got a new maf from VW £64 or something like that but it was also £35 for the diagnostics to wipe the fault, fitted.

just a quick question when you say maf do you mean the air mass meter by the air box or is it something else

Yeah its just after the airbox, bout 4" long says bosch on it and also has a sensor plugged into it,
