Maf Sensor Best Place To Buy???

i think the maff sensor has gone on my car as it will not run at all with it connected.

so i disconnected it so i could get home

also a few days ago engine management light came on and the it went out when i left it parked up for a few days then came on again then off.
could this be related to the maf sensor?weak signal maybe>

My engine management light has been coming on/off recently, I have a feeling its the MAF sensor.

Thing is its only just been in the dealer & had a diagnostics check & they never mentioned anything to me.

my car is a very early 2001 car 1st reg 17/01/01 and the part number on the maf is
06a906461a

but on the cupra parts list it says maf number should be 06a906461d

which one should i order

Think you should plug into vagcom and find a definite cause of problem tho

yeh i am goingto take it to a local vag specialist to take a look at it!!

i got mine from VW.. about 80 quid i think with exchange unit.

and that gives me 2 years warranty with it

hi yeh 75.50+vat exchange is what my local seat and my local vw garage qouted.
the vw garage has them in stock so i will likely get one there!

i had some probs 2 with my managment light and when i wanted 2 boost the light came on..
after checking with vag-com. i replaced it..
costed me 85 euro's with vat and problem solved...
