Maintenance Packages from SEAT

Now I've had a quick search on here and SEAT.co.uk and can't see anything.

Sure SEAT (not sure if it's dealer operated or SEAT UK) but they used to offer a maintenance package for a fixed fee?

Anyone know if it's still offered? details?

Yep, it is still offered. Well at least in New Southgate Seat the dealer I just bought a Leon off. There was a little A5 leaflet, official Seat printed thing and I asked the salesman if he could give me the prices but apparently as it's run by VW finance he couldn't and will get back to me.

If I hear anything I'll post back!

I can say you can buy 3 levels, Service, Service & Maintenance or Service Maintenance & Tyres and they can be bought at any time up to 10k or 1 year.

Yeah, I looked into this the other day. You need to ring your local dealership and talk to the finance guy.

They dont charge any interest on the payments which is pretty good. I was quoted £14/month over 3 yrs for the services only, which is based on 14k miles per year. You'll find that the total price is waaaayyyyyy below what you'd pay if you took it in normally.

Blimey, thats much cheaper than I got quoted by Seat directly today! For a 2.0 TDI Stylance 06/06 with 9k miles they quoted:

Service £23 /month for 3 years
Service & Maint £37 /month for 3 years
Full inc Tyres £59 /month for 3 years

All for 16k a year. This doesn't seem right but I queried it and he checked again and there are no special offers running. So just for service you are talking £828 for essentially 4 services which is ave of over £200 per service.

Not worth it in my opinion.

Out of interest which dealer did the quote, maybe they can do better deals than Seat themselves!?
