MAP sensor position

Does the MAP sensor HAVE to be on the hot side of the intercooler?

(or is it on the cold side.. i didn't really check)

Having a bit of trouble with a FMIC so i was wondering can i place the MAP wherever i want?

Place after the intercooler outlet.

Needs to read the reduced charge temp after the intercooler has done its job.
