Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations for a fingerprint-proof matte screen protector for the central cockpit screen? I wasn't sure if there was a dedicated product out there specifically for Mk4 Leons or if it was possible to just use a laptop/iPad protector and trim it to size?

Has anyone done this?

Cheers!

Are you sure it helps? Get a microfibre cloth to wipe the screen would do the trick.

If you insist, temu have many for 12.9ins (clear only, not matte).

Fingerprints on your screen are indeed a nightmare on the Leon.

I have a matte version from the company Disskin on it, and it works great.

No more fingerprints on the screen, easy to clean.

And applying it is a breeze too.

The advantage of the matte version is that it doesn't reflect light.

Lightly dampen it with the bottle that comes with it.
Apply the film, slide it into place.
And then gently smooth it out with the tool that is also included.

I don’t have a Leon but I also use a soft microfibre cloth to clean the infotainment screen in my car. I just give the screen a wipe each time I clean the car (usually every 10-14 days). It just takes a few seconds to wipe it and it’s cheaper than buying a screen protector 👍.

If you use a screen protector, you dont have to clean the screen anymore :sneaky: there will be no more fingerprints on it

I don’t often get fingerprints on the infotainment screen as I’ve got physical controls for HVAC and audio so rarely touch the screen. The microfibre cloth is used primarily to remove dust from the infotainment screen and instrument display.
