Was wondering what maximum power people are running on dual mass flywheels as I'm needing one but want to make sure thy hybrid don't kill a flywheel,

Thankyou

people running alot more power than you will see from the hybrid mate.
so long as its not already got excessive play it will be fine.

I'm not sure what clutch John from Awesome - CupraMVR is running.

Johns still on OEM clutch and flywheel but has an aftermarket set up waiting to go on.

Id NEVER put a DMF on a hybrid of larger powered car that your actually going to use the power fully on.

Each to their own.

Its like building a house with one course of cheap assed bricks, its just a matter or time.
but the effort to change it out when it does go outways the small cost saving now

so standard clutch and flywheel is ok on lc stage 2? I guess so as i think it tops out at 230 brake which is about same as lcr which uses same clutch i believe- does the gear change become notchy with a single mass flywheel

If you have the £1000 to change the lot then fine..

Hybrid power is not big power, and we're talking fwd cars which when they do have big power will break traction before huge torque is possible... not the same on 4wd stuff like s3's however.... but there are several BT cars running BT's and dual mass.
Its a shame the single mass and uprated units cost the earth as its a no brainer.

the pos octavia I had ran spec clutch and dual mass.
i launched it a few times, in full 4wd launch mode and it was ok flywheel wise, but the poor clutch felt a bit worse for wear after.. lol

Tufftys runnig std pressure plate, dual mass with a sachs paddle centre plate, same setup as i think steve (caney) is running in his TT
