Just been Santa pod for the weekend, run it up the track was fine, VERY poor start though so only run a 15.4 lol, but anyway on way home my clutch started to slip on 6th gear when I plant it, so it's time for a stage 1 clutch upgrade, anyone know any good stage 1 or clutch upgrades to go for :)? Thank you in advance for any help and advice :) this is in a leon cupra R by the way!

Yeah that's what I'm going for mate? What are the standard ones capable of holding?

I did single mass and the extra vibration trashed my gearbox, I'd stay dmf and get a decent paddle clutch unless you want 300+

Not done it yet but I've started with welly cooler on front, 3" TIP, 3" relentless downpipe. & decat then 3" all the way through, tubular exhaust manifold, bigger turbo maybe stage 3 hybrid or GT28, probs injectors too :)

Yep that's my post and my setup as recommended by Bill (Badger5). The setup will cope with big power as the setup is used by Bill on the BT builds :)

It does feel amazing when giving it some and I'm in need of a short shifter to make it even better.

Oh really? Lol I sort of just thought about that setup off my own back lmao? And it matches a pro's set up, not bad lol! And what power you running mate?

Running around 270hp & 310 lb ft. It's limited a bit as I don't have uprated rods but like you I'm hoping to keep the car and maybe go hybrid when the K04 packs in :)

270 with that set up? Have you got tubular manifold and that? And yeah I'm thinking maybe stage 3 hybrid or stage 4 lol, says around 320-330 for a stage 3 hybrid or 340-360 for stage 4 I think, and that's what I've got to do lol when the ko4 goes, get the hybrid in :)

Yep 270 with setup as my clutch went shortly after stage 2. Why? You think that's bad?

I dunno, seems lower than some others I've seen on same set up, I've seen some running like 290-310bhp with that setup mate :)

I don't have manifold just all other stage requirements and stage 2 wont get you much past 280 unless you incorporate wmi, actuator etc

All k04 are different and all perform differently too :)

Oh lol well I reckon if you got a high flow manifold you'll reach 300bhp :) and yeah couldn't agree more with that mate

Don't need rods unless going above 300 lol you'll be fine just above say 305 would be ok without roads, I've heard these engines can hold up to 350 lol & ah that's fair enough mate I'm only 21 lol living with parents still ATM

The rods can go at anytime buddy....they've even gone on some Stage 1 LCRs and it ain't the power that kills them it's the torque ;)
