Hi,

Does anyone know if there's front mud flaps available for the Cupra? If so, if you also have the part no.

I would hang fire with the Seat one I fitted my fronts and not worth the money they are just a piece of rigid plastic and I could not get it to fit fully to the wing edge 2 mm gap

There is a post on hear and somebody found a firm that made for the Cupra different colours and styles

Found it http://www.performancecreations.co....tion-type-5f-2012-onwards-mudflaps-1331-p.asp

please dont put rally flaps on your leons, they are god awful. Yes the rigid plastic ones from Seat arent worth the money but they wont look half as cheap as those.

agreed... they may work (did on my scooby) but they are sooo nasty looking. Might as well cover your car in glue and ram-raid the ripspeed section in halfords!

Was these the cupra ones, part number 5f0075111 as on the seat site or are all the seat flaps pooh?? I see some on a mk7 golf and they looked well made and fitted. Thought the seat ones would be similar.

No the Golf 6 Ones I fitted were top quality soft rubber with a perfect fit flange to the wheel arch compared to the Seat ones
If I had known I would have removed them before sale and tried to fit them to my Leon

So, now the front mud flaps are ordered from ebay. £60 including shipping to Sweden for the pair.

At Friday I'll pick up my "new" 5000miles Black Cupra from the dealer... Quite excited!!

Flexible mud flaps, rather than the SEAT rigid plastic ones, which cost an earth, perform much better when you are faced with speed humps, pot holes etc. as they flex on knocks and therefore do not potentially damage the bodywork to which they are fixed. I was quoted £120.00 to supply and install, for the SEAT approved rigid plastic mudflaps, both front and rear. Purchased my mupflaps from Performance Creations, both front and rear with the added FR logo as a option. Fitted like a glove, had to remove the back wheels to fit, however that gave me the chance to give the wheels a good clean. They look great, my personal opinion however.
