Memory Wire??

Okay, After Sucessfully Installing A Cd Player Into The Glovebox Of My Mk3 Ibiza, I've Notice A Few Problems,

Problem 1:
On The Centre Console The Date And Time Are Wrong.
Date Says: 1/JAN/1999
Time Says: 00.00.
Is This Something To Do With Memory Wire?

Problem 2:

On The Cd Player, It Does Not Save The Bass,Treble, Fade, etc.
Once Again, Is It A Memory Wire Thing?.

Any Help/Guidance Is Appreciated

yes,you need to swap the red and yellow wires on the radios wiring harness to sort it

red wires to yellow wires? im not at all good with electric stuff,

Definitely sounds like a memory wire there bud, they're normally blue but try searching for a wiring diagram for your specific product online.
Use a joining block just to connect the 2 wires
