If I don’t have any music on etc and I’m at a stand still and set off, once the rpm has picked up I notice a sort of metallic noise like two bits of metal are scraping together, it’s louder in eco mode, what can it be? Car drives fine

If the noise like some metal part vibrates and ACT engine then turbo/wastegate rod rattle on two cylinder mode.
Really annoying and mercedes was same.i will complain about on next service.tried to put some high heat resistance grease but no luck however some people say sorting the problem.

I have a cupra mate not a rattle more a scrape

Are the pads dragging slightly on the disks? Try touching the brake and see if it stops or gets worse. If you have one hot wheel after a longer run then that needs fixing asap.

I had a terrible grinding noise happen once, turned out to be a tiny piece of gravel stuck between the wheel hub and brake caliper.

Only on acceleration and not braking mate, pads are fine
