i guess it would be undriveable without the T/C with so much power/torque through the front wheels. can't get it to work on track, brakes get too hot, even with drilled discs, full race pads and brake cooling ducts - problem is front brakes used for stability system, virtual limited dif, traction control AND most of the stopping - end result - melted discs, gone through 3 pair disc and 4 sets of pads, so its drag racing only now, no trackdays:(

That's fair does but if you can go that fast i wont bother turning it off :)

Flaming hell!
What make discs and pads you using?

Am i right in thinking your cars for sale? :S

discs are factory as its eaten £300+ of drilled and grooved ones, pads are Ferodo 'race only' FRP3083H and are a hundred times better than factory AP pads which are TOTAL S**T.

did put it up for sale as I had total hump cos it wouldnt track, guess i will have to live with that for now as i can't solve that one, and i dont do SLOW on track.;)

XDS, it mimicks a LSD with the ABS system braking a wheel that starts to spin thus putting drive to the other wheel. Its an advanced EDL I guess that our cars have had for a long time.

XDS not 100% sure, something differential system I would guess. The virtual limited slip differential

EDL Electronic Diff Lock

Suspension wont swap over.

That will definately be coming across if I get one then took ages to find a second hand one lol.

What's the setup like on the mk5 then has it gone back to the same as the mk3?

Rear is the same, front hubs and struts are the same the main difference is they have junked the MK4 top bearing arangement and used the MK1 Leon type bearing.
