Alright guys my mates just had a his car plugged in and it's came up the following fault B11F6 motor for mirror fold in electrical failure and B11F6 motor for fold in mirror fold in open circuit. I was just wondering if anyone has had any similar problems or know how to sort this fault. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Does the mirror fold on key or switch command?

If it does most likely a intermittent fault otherwise could be wire or motor issue

The mirrors are now jammed into to fold position tried to reset them with the fob etc and still no joy but the mirror glass etc still move at first it was only the left mirror that wasn't moving we tried everything and then plugged it into the snap on and it came up open circuit fault and motor fault so was thinking maybe a faulty wire or it could be a dodgy motor it's puzzled me.

I've just had the same problem with my driver side mirror...stopped unfolding when unlocking the car. Sometimes it would fold out half way (not much help!!)

In the end I disconnected the battery for 5mins so everything reset, mirror would work briefly so once it was unfolded I went into the settings and turned off the folding with key option. As i couldn't get out the habit of holding the lock button and having it get stuck in a useless position again!!!

I had the car into the dealer Tuesday just gone and they said it was a faulty motor, replaced under warranty.

my 2013 car has the drivers stuck in the closed position i did the window trick but it only moves slightly

could it be the switch or motor at fault ? can the motor even be changed on its own ?
