Mirror puddle lights

I have bought some led's to fit in my door mirrors to act as puddle lights when the car is unlocked at night and I know that I can use the heated mirror wiring to connect them and then programme using vcds but does anyone know how to connect the led's with the wiring off the mirrors please

On the pin out I gave you, pin ten is positive, so which ever colour wire you have used needs to go to red on the led, the other earth goes to the black wire,



I'd check the led is wired the right way round first though using a battery.

Sorry jake not sure what you mean when you say the pin out you gave me? I took the door card off on Sunday and the 2 plugs with the purple clips but don't know which plug

So either of the heater wires ie brown or grey can go into pin 10 then I leave the other where it is you mean in the block?

It does help to an extent but I don't know which the heater wire is in the block plus at the mirror end there is a grey and brown so all I need to know which colour wire goes into pin 10 please

if its grey at top its grey going into the block...

Have you coded them in.

One wire goes to power the other too earth. It's really not hard.

Yup so if your code was 5432 you would put 5434.
