Mirror stalks

Anyone got some tips for drying around the mirrors?

Everytime i wash i go round with the microfibre towel, get it all dry, then as soon as i get the polish on water starts leaking out from the gap between the mirror stalk and the door.

this really iritates me so i take the mirror cover of and dry as much as possible then blow away any excess water with my mouth ha ha, sure the neighbours now think i am a freak!!

I have what can be considered a "divers towel" but it wasn't sold as that. It's one of these super soft cloths that absorbs 100% of it's on mass. I wedge that into the gaps and it sucks all the water out. Wring it out and repeat.
