Mk 2 TFSI Petrol Wheel alignemnt

Help needed...just had the front tyres changed and thought I would get the alignment and tracking done at the same time. The local KWIK FIT said they had the new Hunter all singing all dancing laser machine, great I thought. They then said beacause the car had been lowered there machine was showing all parameters well out and did I want them to put them back to factory settings.

My question is...if they do this against my car that has been lowered then it could put everything even more out of alignment. Has anyone used these new machines that are apparently going to be in most places soon beacuase of new goverment legislation ?

Had mine done on this machine recently with coilovers fitted too. The car fronts were just out a little bit. If you search alignment, I have uploaded my results to show what I currently have. I think he set mine as sports suspension when he did it not sure

You want somewhere performance based like "Center Gravity". Google them and you'll see how popular they are with VAG and especially Porsche

i had mine done last week in addition to my MOT and here's a pic, it shows the before & after, where its red, it was out. where is all green in the 'after' section these are the factory settings:
