I honestly don't know why mine sounds so **** at low rpms then. I mean really bad. I've bought myself a cobra 2.5" downpipe and decat to give me a turbo back system, it sounds that bad. I didn't want to spank another 250 quid but I couldn't have my car sounding like that.....

Yeah that did cross my mind and the pipewerks one is only another 90 quid.... I'll send it back I reckon. The main thing I want is the noise gone but there's no point in cheaping out
I kind of know the answer to this already, but does it make much of a difference getting a 3" downpipe and decat when my catback is only 2 1/2" (I think)? I'm probably going to get a fmic and go stage 2 at some point, but I'm only planning on keeping this car for a few years and although I don't want to screw myself out of easily gained power, I'm not trying to squeeze every little drop out of the engine
Hello everyone fitted the decat this evening just to let you know it does sound tinny at first then once it warms up it's fine and no eml due to 2 washers on the lamba sensor
My 3" downpipe and decat arrives tomorrow the amount I've spent getting my exhaust sorted I should have just coughed up the grand I was quoted for a full custom turbo back, but hey ho, live and learn. I'll be happy once it's on and purring and sorry to piss on your fireworks ever so slightly, but my eml didn't come on for a few days. It could be coming to get you.......
