I'm currently in the process of turbocharging my mk2 Golf vr6 with a GT35R , hoping for ~400hp/tonne out of the old shed.

Fitz nice'n'tight - heat sheilding needed for column gaiter/clutch m/c and pipes!

Precision wastegate, Seimens 630cc injectors

Non-chav boost gauge to match VDO oil pressure gauge

4" C2 MAF housing to 'trick' ECU into supply more fuel, as per highpowered OEM vw/audi forced induction vehicles

To give some idea what the power/torque curve will look like, here's Jim Potters VR6 Turbo graph

389bhp 360+ LB/FT @ 1bar boost IIRC
More torque at idle than a VTEC
