Right, I've been thinkin on changing cars to the S3 to have 4wd again so been looking about for one that fits the bill.

The reason I posted this is the unbelievable difference in price.

This one for example.

Its the exact same year as mine with virtually the same extras and near as dammit the same mods and its goin for over £10k what I got mine for. How the hell do they hold that kind of value??? Surely the added bonus of 4wd doesn't boost the price of them up that much???

It's a bit overpriced too, despite the mods. Around £19k would be more realistic IMO

A3/ S3 generally worth a lot more than the Leon, even matching spec. Audi badge is a lot more desirable as pointed out. Its a much nicer car to live with IMO

I looked at S3's but went for the Cupra R.Not too fussed about 4wd and the Audi would have been older. They are nicer inside though and hold their money better but i prefered the Cupra R overall.

Had a Cupra R and now own an S3 cabin is much nicer and screwed together in the Audi. Much quieter and comfortable with much more grip.
In standard tune the R felt quicker although on paper that's not the case.
Much less road noise in the Audi too.

Yes better inside as you would expect from the price tag.As for screwed together yes i will give you that one just,i take these cars apart for a living and all VAG cars ate more or less the same.
The Lambo im working on at the min is just like a golf!
