What a horrible thing to drive in the snow. Sure the last one wasn't this bad. Maybe its the factory fit tyres.

Are they Rosso's?? Mine came with them. I found them to be bad in winter and in the wet.

Not actually looked to be honest . I just know the car is worse than hopeless in the white stuff. I love driving in the snow and I was almost scared earlier and I have never been scared of driving in snow before.

I have to agree with you on this one...although only being a 140pd...I had more confidence in my old Fiesta 1.3 flight

Its been well discussed on here see winter tyre thread - wide road tyres without open tread are a no no in winter, I use a low power, narrow tyred, punto in bad weather !!

Yeah, I am well aware of the benefits of winter tyres and have had them on most of my cars over the years. Very surprised the standard fit tyre is so poor for general use though.

Gonna buy a cheap bomb for winter instead though

This is what I have done, can't beat a bit of underpowered traction for bad weather, although it would of been better with narrower tyre's.

Ahh I see, a banger! Not used mine for 3 days as Ive been using the o/h 1.4 polo. It has enough dents and scrapes to qualify lol.

the Falkens on my 19s seen to be coping no bad with the snow. was out ploughin through it yesterday. Its worse today though so i'll report back in a couple of hours.......unless i'm snowed in somewhere

Yeah they are Rossos. Checked this morning. Gonna swap the 888's off the Pro Race 1.2's for some winter tyres too methinks.

using the wifes megane most of the time i hate it, but at the moment a lot better in the snow than the leon.
