hi all back with a quick diy homebrew mk3 vr6 turbo
hi all thought id do a quick home build diy turbo on my mk3 vr6 golf ,
specs so far
full leather interior
fully polybushed rear axle ,
front wishbones poly bushed
full stainless exhaust
full lowerd koni coil overs front rear
new clutch
just rebuilt the engine (new mains/big ends,bolts, piston rings, headspacer, timing chains,tensioners,full gasket set replacment,12 new valve guids,stem seals, laped ground in,head skimed,
new tyres, new rear wheel bearings
next thought id do a bit of a home diy turbo on it , nothing too fancy just enoegh to rise a few ponies[:y:]
to4b turbo .84 t4 hotside , as i didnt want a early boosting turbo and end up with a brokern gearbox[]
38mm external wastegate and screamer pipe
made some pipe work up
made a 3inch downpipe
headspacer fitted
runing 36lb injectors but at 4bar
95mm maf,5pin maf
044 fuel pump
,
next to do is finish maf/intake,,fit injectors, airfilter,buy/fit fmic ,add boost gauge,add dump valve,, tempory fit a wideband ,then take it for a test tunie , [:y:]
