MK4 Golf Coilovers fit an LCR? Mixed reviews

Hey guys need to know as I'm getting to many mixed reviews.

Can MK4 Golf Coilovers fit on a LCR? As iv seen some on eBay I'm interested in. Some people say yes others say no and others chat about tabs and cutting the ARB out?!

Please can someone who has coilovers fitted to an LCR shed some light.

rears will fit, fronts wont.

Yeh basically the LCR uses a bracket on the shocker to bolt the drop link for the ARB to.

There are plenty of kits for the LCR, can't really see the problem just buy the correct kit, you can get coilovers for as little as £175

Yeah not shy on spending money - but seen a good set on eBay for a good low price and was wondering before I buy them!
