mk4 golf lowering springs, will they fit?

So, while I'm up in newcastle at UNI and actually have some decent money coming in now, im gonna start stock pilling parts to put on 'lola' when i get home for christmas, and i want some decent springs and a decent drop of like 45mm really but cant find some decent leon ones and was wondering whether mk4 golf springs would fit ? any ideas?

Leon is base on mk4 golf so alot of parts do fit inc springs

If u lower more than 40 mm you will need a new arb but yeah they will fit
