I have a 1.2TSI that I'm not looking to sell, but do want to mod to improve performance and driving experience.
It's had a stage 1 remap already and I've done mods to air/intake, but I had some questions about other mods that I'd like help on.
I'm looking to get some 17" wheels as it came with 16s. I was wondering about lowering and exhaust, and how these compare to the FR? Is the FR the same general suspension, i.e. same shocks, but just lower springs? I've wondered whether something modest like 20mm but keep rest stock with 17" would preserve some ride comfort but also give some slightly better handling?
In terms of exhaust, does the FR exhaust fit the 1.2TSI? Are brackets all the same? I appreciate I'd need to either cut out from current bumper or swap bumper with FR bumper to fit the exhaust tips (anyone know if that fits?)
