Just a heads up that we have a Desire Red MK4 Leon Estate 1.5 eTSI FR 150 in our hands for a review, if there's anything you'd like us to check or look at let me know on this thread.

Max range on a normal style of driving and what is the average fuel consumption for this normal style of driving... so not full gas but also not full eco mode. Normal with some sprints and some highway with over 150km/h... things like this.

So this morning I've been on loads of trips, around town (max 30mph), single cartridge way (max 60 mph), dual carriage way with overtaking and joining motorway with full beans (10mph > 70mph).

This is the stats on them journeys, I was driving in normal mode the whole time and if not overtaking I was driving as normal so no heavy foot.

That's letting the car engine break for me coming up to roundabouts and on the way home with a full food shop. I'll keep you updated on what else I find.

I would be interested in how you find Lane Assist. We are not enjoying it on the 1.5 FR 150 we got a couple of weeks ago. I note from the first photo in the thread that it has been switched off.

Separately, on the photo on this post, I can see you're showing what appears to be a speed limit symbol on the right hand side of the Speedometer. I've not seen that on ours (we can get the speed limits up on the Sat Nav screen but not on the speedometer). Was that something you were able to configure?

That's the traffic sign recognition, it comes with one of the driver assist options

Does the dent in the steering wheel airbag moulding come as standard LOL? A picture of the boot space would be good. TIA!

I live in the countryside and the roads aren't that wide so I find the lane assist mildly annoying as it's constantly making adjustments when it's perfectly within the lines. I'm glad I don't have the vibration option on.

As for the warning light that was because the front assist said it had limited use I assume as it was covered in snow haha so the lane assist has been on the whole time.

I believe you're correct I'm yet to do the full read up on stats etc

What have you done telling me that was there haha I hope not but it want me who did it... How does even happen haha
I'll be doing some comparison pictures as I have a Mk3 estate so I'll put them side by side to hopefully help with any questions, but it looks very similar to my car.

Not sure if there's are of any use to you... Not down to the mm but it shows there's not a massive difference

Mk3 Leon

Boot top - 87cm
Boot middle - 109cm
Boot bottom - 100cm
Boot top bottom - 80cm
Boot depth - 88cm to lip, 100cm to seat
Boot width - 100cm between plastic
Lowered base to boot cover - 52cm

Mk4 Leon

Boot top - 89cm
Boot middle - 104cm
Boot bottom - 98cm
Boot top bottom - 82cm
Boot depth - 88cm to lip, 103cm to seat
Boot width - 98cm
Lowered base to boot cover - 52cm

The type of measurements made... (obviously whilst I wasn't holding a phone for the pictures haha)

Interesting. From the pics, you'd be hard pushed to tell the difference. Thanks(y)
It's pretty much the same like you mentioned, from the outside of car the boot looks bigger but I think it's because the MK4 doesn't have the lip/loading ledge when the boot lid hits the body, so you may get more space in that respect when closing the boot with stuff inside.

Any last requests for any hands on info for this car as it goes back to SEAT on Friday, I'll take as many pictures as possible but can get requests in before then.

Hopefully get the review up in a few days after it gets picked up.

Cheers
