Hi mates, here's my new FMIC... MK4 Seat Sport.

Custom made 4-layer silicon hoses and aluminium pipes.

Sorry for the crappy pictures...

I hope you like.

Cheers!

Looking good viktor, have you done any logs to see what intake temps are reduced by? Looks very tidy and seems to utilise the most of the airflow both top and bottom of the grills.

Thats a big intercooler. Few questions. Is that not the optimum way to have the pipes because the air will have to do a u turn once inside unless im looking at it all wrong. Also are you not worried that enough air will be able to hit the radiator?

^^^^this

These engines have issues with heat in the block. That's just going to make it worse. Also how thick is the cooler because that looks like a huge volume

hi guys, the fmic is more efficient with the pipes at same side because the air flow moves all over the whole fmic. Some plastic pieces and covers was removed and a lot of fresh air are coming now from the outside. Unfortunatelly I don´t have logs before the installation, but the sensation are good, you can feel more responsiveness, there's no added lag and the amount of original tubing was reduced with these custom made silicone tubes, the piping are now a bit short than the original. I can take some temp measures and compare them with my friend's boc but the improve are evident. I want to put on dyno soon to measure the gains.
A mold was builded to make these four layer silicone tube kit.
The idea now is to adjust the remap for these improvements, fmic and new cold spark plugs mounted (ngk).

concerning to the radiator... the next weeks a kit of temp and boost gauges will be mounted, but I don't feel any trouble, seems that the amount of air flowing inside of the front bumper are ok.

Thank you, your comments are welcomed.

edit: now the fmic hoses are not passing alongside the downpipe due to this new route.

Hey what intercooler is it that as its huge but I like the fact the pipes stay away from the down pipe I might have to get this kit rather than the forge
