modifying a alhambra 1.8t 20v

Im buying my mates seat alhambra 1.8t 20v thats been tuned by project zwo. Its got a 1.8t 20v. I had a 1.8t 20v golf gti and I wanna tune this seat as well. Been looking for usual things and im assuming things like intercooler set ups and exhaust systems are hard to get? Also is there anywhere that sells coilovers for the seats?

Also if anyone has any things to look out for let me know

Mine is on coilovers. Try venommotorsport. Ebay aswell.but from venom are cheaper.

Anyone know any brake conversions that can be done?

Biggest problem with the Alhambra is the strength of the driveshaft splines even a standard 20V puts a hell of a strain on them especially on dragging away in first gear. Very embarassing to lose drive when they strip!

Hmmm I see. Still wont deter me lol ill buy a spare set

Check how much slop you have jack up drivers side & rock wheel backwards & forwards not uncommon to have a lot of slack means shaft splines are well worn.

Ill have a check tomorrow. I mean its only done 68k so shouldnt be that worn should it?
