module 46 cent conv

got a genuine vag com cable running on vcds 805.4 but when i select module 46 it gives me a error message of "controller not responding"

any ideas on why this may be?

Since you didn't tell us anything about your car, it leaves me wondering whether or not you have a module 46. Just because it is in the address range of VCDS, it does not mean that you have that module. Post an autoscan of the car and perhaps we can shed more light on your question.

Central Convenience is an 'old' module and doesn't like higher baud rates, does it....?

sorry, yea its a 2002 lc. module 35 and 09 don't work aswel tho.

The only ones that should work are 1,2,3,8,15,17,19,22,35,46,56

that will answer why 9 dont work then lol, could it actualy be anything to do with the convenience module in the car?

got the module to talk in the end, took module out for 1/2 hour to reset it, saves disconnecting batt.
