:( Yet another 2ltrs of liquid gold into the Bocanegra. Since purchase its drunk 6 ltrs of finest synthetic juice. thats roughly 2ltrs every 12 weeks.

Its going in on the 1st November. Frankly dont want it back. Nice to look at great to drive. However rattly, tinny and thirsty for the amber nectar I had a way easier life with the array of Dagenham dustbins that I have had in the past. as for amber nectar I dont mean Fosters, which also tbh is gash!:(:(

Got to admit, that level of oil consumption would worry me. I have had eight brand new VAG cars and never had to put oil in any of them between services. Sorry but that is just too high an oil usage for me:(

Its done 7,750 K. Not had the pants thrashed off it. Mostly it commutes 18 miles a day and been wound up to over a ton 20 three times. It sits warming up every morning before moving off. Nearly always driven either in D or on the paddles. Dont like S as its really thrashy

Seat dealer can have it from the first of Nov and I dont want it back until its fixed. It can fester in the workshop until its done

WOOHOO!!!!!!! You know you love it deep down mate, if it had no problems like this you would be smiling all the way hehehehehehehee. I am sure they will fix it for you mate. I have done 7k and hardly used any oil, i am sure it is something simple that for some reason they are over looking. Maybe a broken seal in the turbo?

Nor:blink:mally about 10 mins or so while I clear windows etc and get warm air through heater. Drive it normally every day as its a commute and cant go nuts as the traffic is pants going to work

I reckon its the turbo again myself, got the black really sooty exhaust again.

Mate you shouldnt warm it up for 10 minutes without moving., 1 minute is enough, when you drive off be gentle for 6-7km. Try it for a week and monitor the oil consumption. Imo you are going to see a drop in oil consumption.

Always done this especially at this time of year whilst scraping the frost or water off the windows. Also it only warms through until it stops rattling and idles at the correct rpm. Plus unlike my ST2 no quick clear windscreen which I really miss alot. Not used to a steamed up windscreen

sorry to hear about that chuck, heard smc was losing seat in a couple of weeks too but not 100% sure. must admit tho my exhaust is pretty black at times but im using no oil what so ever anymore and im on nearly 3k. i think i pretty much do the same journey as your car each day and only really get to use paddles on uxbridge road and thats it. never go in sport either.

shame tho and hope it gets fixed soon, havent seen the boc on the way home in a while.... has smc been looking at it?

Karens had a pool car from work ( Mito Cloverleaf) lately and I have been coming to work via the M4 in the Boc. It goes into SMC on the first of November and we have told them they have got it as long as it takes to sort out. Got a courtesy car from them until all the problems are fixed. It will be coming to your place for its first service though. We have been battling with SMC alot lately dont want to say too much on here though.

Have to say we both really like the Mito, ok its the top one in the range but the interior is lush! and it goes pretty well. The girl who used to drive it has been"Let go" so Karen is reaping the reward:clap::D

Its quiet as well. Demoed a Leon Cupra R yesterday very impressed but absolutely ROCK HARD suspension! did corner like it was on rails though, but also trying a Guiletta as well, the girl round the corner works for SGT and we have been talking to her

My Cars been through around the same amount of oil. Its calmed down now but at first was worried too. Never got round to taking mine in so I'm very interested to hear what the garage say about yours. Still using about 1/2 ltr each month or so but not really had any issues as to the way its driving or the power output. Get my oil for free now so so cost's not a problem either.

Mine used about 3 litres in its first few months (which really worried me) but now its loosened up and run in nicely seems to have totally stopped drinking oil, still going to keep a close eye on it though.
