Had the car in for an MOT today and it failed on numerous things.

offside headlamp aim too low
nearside headlamp aim too high
nearside rear stop lamp not working

these are no big deal but the major one is

nearside front lower suspension arm has excessive play in a pin/bush.

I have powerflex bushes fitted, are these prone to failure? is this the bush at the front of the arm.

Thanks

lower wishbone usually has two bushes front and rear. would need removing. old bushes pressing out and new bushes fitted. A reputable garage would be able to do it for around 2 hours labour i would imagine + parts so £150-£200 as you've said the other problems are simple fixes...

and in response to your question about the powerflex bushes yes like any other bush they will eventually wear out and need replacing :)

Will give powerflex an email as they say on the website that its a lifetime guarantee. Have a new wishbone ordered.for £30 will fit myself again.
