when i stop the car and turn it off the little motor that usually chirps up from on top of the rad isnt working?? i fiddle with the connection and it kiced back in again.so i took the connector off and gave it a clean with WD40, put it back on and it doesnt do anything now!!! is this a problem???
If your on about the fan which comes on when you switch the engine off then this is the same problem i had. I fiddled with the fuse box on top of the battery and i was able to make it come back on again but after a while it would stop working. I eventually took the fuse box off and cleaned the contacts inside, where I found some plastic had melted between the contacts which was causing the fan to be intermitant. Since i have done this i have had no problems. Hope it helps.
not sure if its the fan its like a little motor that sits on top of the rad on the left hand side.sounds like a pump of some sort.but il try that aswel mate, thanks for the response!
the fuse's in the holder(top of battery) also linked to the secondary water pump - mine did the same - i took the fuse out, pushed in back in and worked for a short time but then stopped -
