Hi guys

I've been posting on the Mk1 forum for a while but unfortunatley this happened just before Xmas!

Anyways everyone is OK and just about over it and ... the insurance has agreed to send a cheque for the full invoice price I paid in Jan 2006

I put down a few quid and went for a new Leon FR TDi in emocion red with the bluetooth and 18" alloys and should get it week on saturday

Can't wait - had a quick test drive at the dealer and was well impressed - seems to have more urge than the Mk1 FR TDi and boy does it look good in the flesh (I'm another one who doesn't think photos do it justice)

I like to keep my cars pretty 'unmodded' although thats not to say I can't be persuaded

Like the look of the brushed alu door trim - subtle, £50 from the dealer isn't bad and it lifts the dark interior just enough

Go for the spoiler of the optional Aero kit, tidies up the back end nicely and makes it a little different!

The spoiler on the Leon is body colour, so Zenith Grey. My dads car, but if you want any more pictures of the spoiler I will try get you some. Reallly does make a difference to the back end and makes it that little bit more sportier
