Hi

I have recently decided to upgrade my bog standard single din radio unit in my 2010 seat Leon, to a double din multimedia system.

I have a budget of £400 to £500. I have been doing a bit of research and have come across a few Kenwood dnx520vbt for £450 (2nd hand), they seem to have good reviews and after the purchase of a fascia plate it should be a pretty much plug and play installation.

I have also come across the Erisin cheaper Chinese models on ebay etc with all the same capabilities but for only £200. On the this forum and other sites they seem to have mixed reviews, I have a friend who has one in his Ford Mondeo and he raves about his for value for money.

Wondering if anyone had purchased and installed any Erisen Multimedia units a lately, or would you recommend the kenwood dnx520vbt (second hand) in the £400 to £500 price bracket?

Your help would be much appreciated..

Ive just paid £550 for a kenwood dnx521vbt 2nd hand. Apparently its a bit better than the 520vbt plus it has a detatcable part of the front panel for addded security.

Just waiting for it to turn up then its fitting time.

With the 521vbt you get the optiin for split screen so you can see two functions at same time. Eg sat nav & phone.

You will need the double din facia in yhe correct colour available from you SEAT dealer for £19.

There is a thread on the 520vbt in the products and accessories section here

For that money you may as well get a genuine VW/ SEAT unit IMO

The RNS 310 (aka seat media system 2) can be had for £200 and top of the range RNS 510
£300 - £400

Thanks for the replies guys. From what I'm hearing with these systems you get exactly what you pay for!
