my buzzing on cold starts

ive done a search and nothing come up for this that i could find . my car makes a horrible buzzing zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz on cold starts as anyone had the same problem its been lyk it for a week many thanks

Boot lid perhaps. try winding the rubber stops on the bottom of the bootlid a turn counter-clockwise and see if this fixes it.

its coming from engine mate and doin my nut in

fair enough, same thing you described happened to me but it was obviously from the boot not the engine. have you checked all wires & pipes are secured etc?

Open the bonnet and see where it's coming from. We need more to go on than that.

if it is the same then check your dv as thats what was wrong with mine.

not dv engine buzzez really loud on cold starts and makes a awfull sound

Mines noisy for about 30 seconds on a cold start, Secondary air pump i thought??
