My new 1.2 TSI Tribu SE

Here she is, was worth every single second of the 13 week wait! The paintwork looks awesome when the sunlight catches it...

The 1.2 TSI is a great little engine, it's got plenty of poke for its size and I'm already starting to get 40+mpg on average, non motorway. The Start-Stop feature works great too!

I orderd Ibiza SC 1.2tsi DSG sport - I hope it will be delivered in December. Is 1.2tsi engine good?

My 1.2TSI Sport 5dr has now arrived!

I went over to the dealer to finalise the money and had a good look at the car - it's got an ECOMOTIVE sign on the bottom right of the boot It doesn't seem right on a Sport model.

Does yours have it on the boot TTX?

If it's got ECOMOTIVE on the boot either someone has badged it wrongly or the wrong car has been delivered. Did you get any pics?

It hasn't got the ecomotive grill or bumper and it has TSI on the side, so I'm guessing it is the right car. (my salesman is away until Monday, so couldn't ask him)

It's not the green and black logo I've seen on the back of a SEAT before, but just the word ECOMOTIVE in a font like the I B I Z A, but smaller.

I might ask the dealer to remove it, if possible.

You can buy the 1.2tsi engine in three versions: Style, Sport or Ecomotive.

In the UK, Style is called SE.

Looking in the brochure and price list, the S and SE can be had with the 1.2 TDI as an Ecomotive version, with the different bumper and grill.

The 1.2 TSI has start/stop, which I guess makes it a bit ecomotive!

The 1.2 TSI manual is kind of a "hybrid" Ecomotive, due to the inclusion of the Start-Stop and Energy Recovery features which are not installed on the DSG version. The 1.2 TDI is the full-on Ecomotive with the blank grill, low rolling resistance tyres, etc...

Yes, mine has the "Ecomotive" badging on the tailgate...
