Well bought this less than a week ago, 43k on the clock.

The wheels are PAP, dont know why they are on but they are!

Anyway, apart from the "lower than expected" mpg i like it :) Im pretty sure its been remapped though as it is a fair bit quicker than i thought? dont really know though!

Just had a new fuel filter and air filter put in, oil and filter is due soon and im gonna do the cambelt too!

nah mate we are from north east, newcastle way :)

Yeh the bug is hers, looks decent :)

Wheels, im not so sure.. i think the mk4 has real trouble making itself look good with a nice set of rims? To me loads dont seem to work so i think im gonna play it safe for a while and put some leon starfish on there as i just think they look "right"

gaz.

I have some ideas for you.

Sparco Assetto Gara
Sparco Drift Matt Black

Sparco rims are made by OZ
And Sparco rims are cheaper than OZ rims

Ive emailed the company and they have asked for a picture of what i recieved so they can sort it out, ive dealt with them before and they are usually very good :)

well finally got the correct raceland coilover kit sent out! (great service from hot tuning btw as usual)

Fitted the rear without adjusters (as you do!) put the fronts on knacked a droplink in the process but replaced now, with standard items as this kit doesnt need short droplinks :)

Pics to come but got one as i initially fitted them, raised the front a bit as it was too low like this and was rubbing like hell. This is how low they go on the front with about an inch of threads left to go!! Would hate to think what its like alll the way down :)

2011-07-02171613.jpg

will get some pics of its current height

Overall view of the raceland coils is brilliant for the money,as good as.... ive had coilovers on the follwing cars

mk5 jetta (ta technix)
Beetle (jom)
mk1 golf (fk highsports)
mk2 golf (unknown)
arosa tdi (ta technix)
mk1 golf cab (fk highsports)
lupo sport (fk highsports)

now Ibiza fr (racelands)

THE RACELANDS provide the best ride easily out of all of the above. even when the were silly low on the front.

Happy with them :)
