my new S badge

hi all. got my new 3m carbon fibre wrap. so having a little time today i re wraped my S badge.

im pleased with the look. but what do you guys think.
forgot to say im thinking of doing the rear spoiler aswel. good idea or not?

That's nice. I don't usually like the carbon wrap malarky, but that looks good. A lot better then a black or debadged grill.

Now, if only we could get honeychrome grills on the LCR.

wow that looks good - did you dismantle the whole badge or was it less hassle?

no. what i did was stick the carbon to the front, and ran a craft knife at an angle to cut the edges off. so the edges are still chrome. looks really good when you look at the from a angle.

I was going to just spray the rear badge black. But this seems like a much better idea.

I may have to think this through, I'm useless at things like this. Attempted to stick a sun strip on the front window. Really mucked that up. I'll probs give it a try.

Still contemplating spraying it matte black though.

bought my wrap off ebay tonight. will attempt it at the weekend. so... i just use a heat gun/hairdryer, and cut round the edges with a knife?? is it that simple? sam. thanks for the inspiration. hope it turns out ok!!

Can't decide which I prefer sam. I have wrapped the s badge but kept the chrome surround for now. Working up the courage to do the rear one as my last attempt did not go well lol.

that looks awesome! not sure if i like the front one too much, but i suppose its completely different in person! seen it done on a mk4 ibiza fr and it looked really good but on pics don't look as good. but the back one is sexual for sure!
